Insurance

If you would like to use your insurance, give your provider a call to determine if you have any out-of-network benefits with your plan. I do work with clients who prefer to submit documentation to their insurance so that they can obtain some level of reimbursement. Additionally, your out-of-pocket cost may be eligible to go toward your yearly deductible. I can provide Superbills and Invoices to my clients which include all of the information that your insurance company would need in order for you to submit a claim.

Emergencies

In an emergency, please call 911, crisis response or go to your nearest emergency room. I can be contacted by my clients between sessions via your Client Portal, however, if you are in need of immediate support or urgent attention, do not hesitate to use emergency services. Emergencies may include if you are feeling that you are at risk for harming yourself or someone else. During the course of our therapy together, if you are experiencing frequent overwhelming symptoms or emergencies, or if you are presenting with symptoms of suicidality or psychosis, I can support you in moving to a higher level of care which would be more intensive treatment, as needed. If you have questions or concerns, we can discuss it more during your initial session.

Payment of Fees:

Fees for therapy sessions are as specified on our website (see cost of services further down on this page), unless otherwise agreed upon. Initial intake sessions are subject to a higher fee. Specialty services like the Addiction Recovery Intensive may be offered at different rates, which will be communicated to you and are also available on our website. Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via credit card or cash. Payment is required at the time of service. The clinician may request your payment method in advance to secure your appointment, particularly for initial sessions.

Cancellation Policy

At Recovery Collective, we aim to provide flexibility while respecting both our clients' and therapists' time. To avoid a late cancellation fee, appointments must be canceled by phone during business hours at least 48 hours (2 days) before your scheduled session. We understand that unforeseen circumstances occur, so each client is granted one free late cancellation per calendar year. However, please note that the fee for a late cancellation or no-show will be charged in full. If we are able to reschedule your appointment within the same week, we will waive the late cancellation fee, though this accommodation is not guaranteed. We recognize that life can be unpredictable, and we strive to be flexible in rescheduling appointments whenever possible.

The Recovery Intensive Program requires full payment before it begins. The therapist dedicates three sessions per week over the course of four weeks to this treatment approach. Due to the significant time commitment, refunds are not available for any reason.

Medical Records

You may sign a Release of Information form for any person (family member, medical provider, etc.) whom you wish to be contacted about your care or for your therapist to be in contact with. Client’s progress notes (therapy, evaluations, etc.) will not be released. When medical records are requested, a summary of care is provided. Administrative rates may apply to such requests.
